I am an IT Network Engineer and Educator with over 10 years of experience across network infrastructure, cloud environments, cybersecurity, higher education, and business leadership. My career combines strong technical capability with practical operational experience, allowing me to understand both the technical and business impact of IT decisions.

Currently, I work as an Information Technology Field Engineer, designing and maintaining hybrid infrastructures that integrate on-premises and cloud environments. My expertise includes LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, WiFi, and cloud networking across Azure, AWS, and VMware. I proactively monitor performance, troubleshoot Tier-2 network issues using tools such as Wireshark, and collaborate with vendors and engineers under ITIL practices. I also develop technical documentation and disaster recovery plans to ensure secure, stable, and compliant systems.

Alongside engineering, I lecture leadership, management, and IT subjects at an RTO, bridging real-world experience with academic learning. Previously, I taught networking, C/C++, Linux administration, microprocessors, and Cisco technologies in higher education, strengthening my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Earlier in my career, I managed IT infrastructure for a United Nations-affiliated government office, overseeing Active Directory, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity measures, server maintenance, and end-user support. This role built my foundation in secure system administration and structured incident management.

I also bring leadership and commercial experience from my time as a Sales Manager in Australia, where I led teams, managed audits, implemented IT upgrades, and drove operational performance. This background gives me strong stakeholder communication, accountability, and business awareness.

I hold a Master of Information Technology (Computer & Network Security) with Distinction and Dean’s Award recognition, along with the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate.
