As a SOC Analyst II at DefendEdge, I monitor, investigate, and mitigate security incidents using advanced tools and techniques. I am certified by Fortinet as a Network Security Expert at Level 3, and I have expertise in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) and security audits.

Before joining DefendEdge, I served in the US Navy for eight years as an Engineering Laboratory Technician and a Radiation Control Technician. I gained valuable experience in team leadership, quality assurance, project planning, water chemistry control, and radiological controls. I also qualified as a Leading ELT, work center supervisor, QAI, and ERS. I plan to separate from the Navy in January 2024 and pursue a career in cybersecurity.
