Network Security Specialist – Cisco Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch)

Delivery Centric is hiring a Network Security Specialist with advanced expertise in Cisco Secure Network Analytics (formerly Stealthwatch). This role is critical to the deployment, integration, and optimization of enterprise network security infrastructure. You’ll drive real-time threat detection, monitor network anomalies, and protect sensitive data using cutting-edge tools, telemetry, and threat intelligence platforms.

As a subject matter expert, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional security teams to build a resilient, scalable, and proactive cyber defense ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical SME for Cisco Secure Network Analytics (Stealthwatch) in the design, deployment, and tuning of network security solutions
• Continuously monitor network traffic to identify insider threats, lateral movement, data exfiltration, and suspicious behavior
• Integrate Secure Network Analytics with SIEM, SOAR, and threat intelligence platforms to enhance visibility and response
• Collaborate with SOC, infrastructure, and IT security teams to fine-tune detection rules and reduce false positives
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards, security reports, and alert mechanisms based on business risk and compliance needs
• Perform regular system maintenance, including health checks, patching, and upgrades to maintain tool efficacy
• Lead deep-dive incident investigations based on network anomalies and support root cause analysis
• Provide mentorship and training to junior analysts and operational support teams
• Stay updated on Cisco’s evolving cybersecurity solutions and emerging threat trends to ensure proactive defense

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Network Analytics / Stealthwatch
• Proven expertise in network security operations, incident response, and threat detection across enterprise environments

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX, and network telemetry analysis
• Strong foundation in TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and network segmentation architectures
• Experience integrating Stealthwatch with Cisco ISE, FMC, and third-party security tools
• Ability to define and manage detection policies, behavioral baselines, and network alarms

Regulatory & Compliance Awareness:

• Familiarity with key compliance frameworks like Essential 8, NIST, and ISO 27001

Preferred Assets:

• Certifications: CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Cisco CyberOps Professional
• Experience in hybrid cloud or multi-tenant network environments
• Scripting capabilities in Python and experience with API-based integrations for automation and security reporting
