Delivery Centric is looking for a skilled Performance Test Lead to take ownership of non-functional requirements (NFRs) and performance strategy across enterprise-scale platforms. This role is pivotal in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness by proactively leading performance testing efforts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet critical performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end NFR and performance testing delivery plan across multiple systems and platforms.
• Define performance testing strategies that align with architectural and business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure NFRs are built into the system design early in the development lifecycle.
• Drive the execution of performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar, and report on system behavior under load.
• Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations to improve system scalability and responsiveness.
• Translate complex technical findings into clear business insights for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Monitor risks and proactively address performance-related issues to minimize impact on delivery timelines.
• Support platform readiness for production through rigorous validation of performance metrics, including throughput, latency, and concurrency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing or engineering within enterprise IT environments.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, or other open source/commercial platforms.
• Strong understanding of application architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and infrastructure components.
• Familiarity with data integration ecosystems (DI) and performance implications within such environments.
• Proven experience in delivering within large-scale programs and managing performance-related risks.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot, tune, and improve system performance.
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels — from engineers to executives.
• Experience with APM tools and performance monitoring solutions is an added advantage.
