Physical Security Engineer (Honeywell/ Genetec)

Domain Expertise (Preferred):

• ITIL Process Implementation
• Genetec (Video Surveillance)
• Honeywell EBI (Access Control Systems)
• Traka Locker Management System

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and troubleshoot Genetec video surveillance applications.
• Configure and troubleshoot Honeywell EBI access control systems and integrate them with Traka Locker Management software.
• Handle L2 support issues and perform advanced troubleshooting.
• Support application, database, and server upgrades/migrations.
• Follow ITIL processes such as Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Coordinate with customers and technicians for system support and updates.
• Perform system configuration reviews to ensure functionality.
• Develop and test Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new integrations.
• Work within an Agile development and support environment.
• Be flexible to work in rotational shifts and support activities on weekends as needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge and practical experience with ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
• Experience in supporting and troubleshooting physical security systems (Genetec, Honeywell EBI, Traka).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration.
• Basic to intermediate experience with SQL administration.
• Good understanding of networking concepts and IP-based security devices (IP cameras, access control hardware).
• Awareness or basic knowledge of DevOps concepts.
