I am a dedicated cybersecurity professional with a bachelor's in computer systems engineering from NEDUET. As a Senior Consultant at KPMG, I led an international onsite secondment at KPMG Saudi Arabia and KPMG Germany, executing an assessment using the TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange) framework which is a German automotive industry standard developed by the VDA and managed via the ENX Association to ensure information security compliance across the automotive supply chain. I also engineered a data-analysis toolkit aligned with the SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) model to strengthen the Data Governance Framework for Business Operation Support Services (BOSS) in accordance with NCA regulations. My consultancy engagements leverage a wide range of frameworks and standards including NCA ECC, DCC, CCC, TCC, OSMACC, SAMA CSF, NIST CSF, PCI‑DSS, ITGC, System Audits, ITGF, BCMF, CFF, ISO 27001/27002/27005/33010, ISO 22301 (BCMS), and PDPL and I advise clients on building cybersecurity governance, defining key metrics, and designing target operating models through cross-functional collaboration. I am also proficient in ITIL for IT operations and support and TOGAF for architectural layering across presentation, application, information, and infrastructure layers.
Additionally, as a Research Associate in Offensive Security at the National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS), I conduct advanced penetration testing using tools like Nmap, Amass, Burp Suite, and Nessus, and have contributed to early ransomware detection projects by deploying SMTP and FTP servers to capture both encrypted and unencrypted traffic. My technical skill set spans Python, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Linux/Bash scripting, SQL, and Oracle VM VirtualBox. I have designed a React Native app for the hearing- and speech-impaired community. I am currently pursuing the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing certification and remain actively involved in the cybersecurity community through roles such as IEEE Karachi Section (Region 10) Executive Committee member, Section Student Representative, and Campus Representative at 10Pearls.
