Backend Developer – Growing Tech Consultancy

Our client is a fast-growing technology consultancy partnering with leading organisations to deliver modern, scalable digital solutions. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Backend Developer to join their high-performing engineering team.

About the role

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
Work across cloud-based environments delivering robust solutions
Collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and product teams
Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and best practices
Work across multiple client engagements and industries

What we’re looking for

Strong experience in backend development (e.g. .NET, Java, Python, or Node.js)
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Solid understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
Experience working in Agile delivery environments
Consulting or client-facing experience is highly regarded
