Delivery Centric is seeking a highly skilled Erwin Data Modeller to join our team as a Technical Lead. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and managing enterprise-level data models using Erwin, supporting data warehousing initiatives, and guiding best practices in data architecture and governance. If you have a strong background in data modeling, DDL/DML scripting, and a solid understanding of modern data platforms, this is an opportunity to lead impactful solutions in a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Erwin Data Modeller
- Collaborate with data architects, engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective data structures
- Ensure data model consistency, version control, and documentation across multiple projects and domains
- Develop and optimize database schemas using DDL/DML scripting in support of data warehouse and application development
- Conduct model reviews, enforce data modeling standards, and recommend improvements for data structure efficiency
- Support data integration, migration, and transformation efforts across platforms
- Lead data modelling practices in agile delivery environments, offering mentorship to junior team members
- Align data models with governance, security, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeller, with hands-on expertise in Erwin Data Modeller
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling, and relational database structures
- Proficient in SQL scripting including DDL and DML
- Demonstrated experience designing scalable data solutions in enterprise environments
- Solid grasp of data integration tools and practices
- Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data models to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Previous experience in a technical lead capacity is highly desirable
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools is an advantage
