Network Engineer – IP/MPLS Design & Transmission

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Network Engineer with deep expertise in IP/MPLS design and transmission. This role will see you partner with other Engineers to design, test, and implement IP/MPLS network architecture—developing standard configuration templates.

About the Role

• Design and test IP/MPLS network architecture.
• Develop and maintain standard configuration templates.
• Work with Nokia technology.

What You’ll Need:

✅ Tertiary degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering (or related).

✅ Strong background in IP/MPLS design and transmission.

✅ Experience designing firewall policies, integrating multiple network domains, and firewall management.

✅ Strong knowledge of Cisco solutions, traffic engineering, and dynamic routing path design.

✅ Understanding of IP networks in relation to wireless radio systems, backhaul, redundancy, and availability.

✅ Recent local Australian experience (must be Melbourne-based).

✅ High-level communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.

✅ Attention to detail and the ability to independently deliver within agreed timeframes.

✅ Experience using Nokia technology.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Unrestricted working rights in Australia (must be Australian/NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident).
• Ideally based in Melbourne, Victoria.
