About Us
truckchecker.ai is an AI startup building innovative safety solutions for the heavy vehicle industry. Our platform uses computer vision and machine learning to prevent dangerous wheel-off incidents. We’re now expanding our technical team to accelerate development and deployment of our edge AI video processing systems.

The Role
We are seeking a skilled Machine Learning Developer with strong Python and real-time media processing expertise. You’ll be responsible for designing, optimising, and deploying live video streaming and analytics solutions, running primarily on NVIDIA Jetson edge devices. This role is hands-on and will require a mix of software development, optimisation, and deployment skills.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Python: advanced experience, especially with multiprocessing and multithreading.

• Linux (Ubuntu): confident in setup, troubleshooting, and optimisation.

• NVIDIA DeepStream (7+): strong experience building and optimising pipelines.

• Proven ability to develop and optimise media delivery solutions (live video streaming, low-latency systems).

• Comfortable working within Agile methodologies.

• Experience deploying ML workloads to NVIDIA Jetson devices.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and project workflows.

• Azure IoT Hub for device management and integration.

• Experience working with CCTV cameras and their SDKs/APIs.

• Background in object detection/classification model training.

• Advanced networking knowledge (QoS, routing, VPNs, firewalls).

• Experience with API programming for integration with cloud/backend services.
