Penetration Tester

About the job

As a Penetration Tester in our Threat Intelligence department, you will play a key role in simulating attacks, identifying vulnerabilities, and strengthening defenses against potential threats. This role involves collaboration across teams to ensure a proactive approach to emerging cyber threats.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting penetration tests and security audits (Web, Infrastructure, Wireless, Cloud, API)
• Simulating cyber-attacks to identify weaknesses
• Providing clear reports with recommendations for improvement
• Collaborating with other teams to ensure best security practices
• Analysing emerging threats and suggesting proactive defense strategies

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in penetration testing or ethical hacking
• Solid Understanding of Defence technologies such as Web Application Firewall, Network Firewall, switching and routing

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of penetration testing tools and techniques

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of current threat landscapes
• Deep Understanding of the fundamental of hacking, including mastering tools like Kali Linux, BurpSuite, Metasploit, Nessus and others
• Must have deep understanding of core networking and infrastructure, including Windows AD, Entra ID, Network Protocols and others.

Certification and Experience Holding one or more of the following:

• OSCP/OSEP or other offensive Security
• CREST Penetration Tester
• eJWPT

Experience

• Must complete number of Catch the Flag (CTF) from TryHackMe, Hack The Box (HTB) or other similar training tool. We will require to see evidence on the completed challenges and rooms.
