SOA Tester

We are seeking an experienced SOA Tester to join our team in Melbourne. This role is focused on testing service-oriented architecture (SOA), APIs, and integrations within enterprise-scale environments, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in web services testing, proficiency with leading testing tools, and the ability to ensure seamless integration across complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct SOA, web services, and API testing to validate performance, functionality, and integrations in enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to understand integration requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Design and execute test cases across SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and WSDL technologies.
• Validate integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP and other enterprise platforms.
• Utilize tools such as SoapUI, Postman, Parasoft SOAtest, or similar for service testing.
• Work with middleware solutions (Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, BizTalk, etc.) to ensure smooth system interactions.
• Document test results, track defects, and manage testing cycles using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Ensure compliance with integration and security standards while supporting continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in SOA testing, API testing, and web services testing in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture principles and integration patterns.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, WSDL technologies.
• Proficiency with testing tools (SoapUI, Postman, Parasoft SOAtest, etc.).
• Familiarity with middleware platforms like Azure Logic Apps, MuleSoft, or BizTalk.
• Experience working with test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments.
