Amber Jacques is the academic lead for the Women in Cyber Security group at the University of Lancashire and teaches across multiple undergraduate and postgraduate policing modules, including research methods, financial investigation, cyber investigation, and cryptocurrency. She is in the final stages of her PhD, which focuses on addressing asset recovery challenges in cryptocurrency to optimise law enforcement practices in the United Kingdom. Alongside her research and teaching responsibilities, Amber supervises undergraduate and postgraduate students in areas such as cryptocurrency, cybercrime, and financial investigation. Since joining the University in 2018, she has been dedicated to fostering a deep understanding of policing practices and investigative techniques, preparing students for successful careers in law enforcement and related disciplines. Amber is now seeking new opportunities to apply her expertise in cryptocurrency investigations, cybercrime, and law enforcement strategy within academia or industry.
