I am a Network Security Engineer with nearly two years of hands-on experience in firewall deployment, VPN configuration, and infrastructure security across SME, education, and corporate environments. I currently work with Dotlines Sdn Bhd, supporting multiple cybersecurity and technology projects involving firewall implementation, secure network segmentation, and client-facing security operations.

My core experience includes deploying and configuring enterprise firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Sophos), implementing VPN solutions (L2TP, OpenVPN), and designing VLAN-based network segmentation to improve access control and reduce attack surfaces. I have worked on nationwide on-site and remote deployments, supporting clients in banking, education, and commercial sectors, with a strong focus on stability, security, and operational continuity.

Beyond technical execution, I regularly collaborate with internal teams and clients to translate security requirements into practical, business-aligned solutions. This includes post-deployment monitoring, troubleshooting, user enablement, and supporting UAT and production rollouts. I am comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where reliability, clear communication, and rapid problem resolution are critical.

I hold the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH v11) certification and am currently pursuing a Master’s by Research in Information Technology (Cybersecurity), with a research focus on firewall rule management and misconfiguration prevention in educational institutions.
