I am very passionate about building intelligent systems for solving real world problems. Ever since my PhD research I have focused much of my work on applied R&D for example in hand writing recognition, signal identification, and bioinformatics classification. I have experience developing algorithms for both low and high number of feature datasets. The machine learning algorithms I develop are coded from scratch to optimize speed and allow for maximum tuning potential. During my research I have experience in developing novel solutions for problems I have not seen before. I may not know everything instantly but I believe that my ability to learn quickly and adapt to the needs of the problem have served me well in completing my PhD and in my current work. My current research projects in big data include MRI brain imaging analysis for early diagnosis of autism, and human gait parameter predictor system using low-cost methods. Consultation work and development of real world solutions for integration of machine learning modules and data analytics into existing workflow to create intelligent systems boosting productivity and usage of dark data.
