I am a senior technology and cybersecurity leader with over 22+ years of experience in Project Management, IT Project Management, Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC). My career spans mission-critical projects in Pakistan’s banking, taxation, aviation, and public service sectors, where I’ve led digital transformation, system integration, and institutional reforms.

My expertise covers IT and institutional audits, procurement management, and risk-based governance frameworks. I have directed both internal and external audits conducted by global firms (EY, KPMG), aligning practices with ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, and CISA standards to strengthen accountability and compliance. I also bring extensive experience in procurement planning and execution under World Bank and donor-funded projects, ensuring transparency and value for investment.

At the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) — Pakistan’s flagship social safety net and the world’s third-largest socio-economic registry — I led groundbreaking reforms in IT governance and cybersecurity. My work included achieving ISO 27001 certification, institutionalizing Secure SDLC, establishing a national SOC/CSOC, and pioneering Pakistan’s first government-led Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP). These initiatives safeguarded citizen data, improved governance, and elevated Pakistan’s cybersecurity resilience.

Earlier, as Integration Manager and T&C Lead with the Thales-Leonardo-GE Joint Venture at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIAP), I directed the integration of 15+ airport systems within a €200M+ project — spanning planning, procurement, design, testing, and client approvals. My leadership in procurement, vendor management, and project delivery was key to meeting international aviation and security standards.

At PRAL (Federal Board of Revenue) and UBL, I further built expertise in IT project execution, audit-readiness, data center modernization, risk management, and secure enterprise IT operations.
