I am a dedicated and passionate Data Science professional with a strong foundation in both hands-on experience and academic expertise. After graduating with a specialization in Data Science from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology, I joined Engenuity AI, where I currently serve as a Data Scientist. My role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including AWS code deployment, AWS EMR, ETL processes, NLP, large language models (LLMs), and Power BI. With over a year of experience as a Data Engineering intern, I've developed a robust skill set in Python, PySpark, and data-driven solutions, focused on driving innovation and solving complex challenges.

In addition to my core tasks, I’m actively involved in AI-driven projects in image and document processing, applying computer vision techniques. This has deepened my expertise in handling diverse data types and advanced AI models, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and LLMs. My work allows me to deliver high-impact insights, leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive meaningful value for our projects. Each new experience helps me expand my skill set and stay at the forefront of advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
