I am a data scientist with a background in veterinary medicine and biology, combining scientific thinking, analytical problem-solving, and practical experience across multiple industries. My career spans animal behaviour, regulatory compliance, operations, and project management in the Netherlands and South Africa, with additional international exposure in Turkey.

I developed a strong interest in how data can be used to uncover patterns, support better decision-making, and improve systems. This led me to complete a Data Science Bootcamp at Stellenbosch University, where I graduated top of class (1/207) with a 100% average.

I work with Python, SQL, and machine learning techniques to analyse data, build predictive models, and extract actionable insights. My technical experience includes building predictive models, performing exploratory data analysis, developing data pipelines, and creating visualisations using Python, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.

My background in science, behavioural research, and regulatory systems gives me a unique perspective on complex real-world datasets, particularly where human, biological, or operational factors interact with data. I am particularly interested in applying data science to scientific research, behavioural analysis, environmental systems, and operational optimisation, where data-driven insights can support better decision-making.
