Born in the UK and raised there as well as in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia, I’ve developed a broad cultural perspective and a deep interest in language. I’m now an early-career machine learning engineer in Singapore, working on natural language understanding for under-resourced languages. I also have research interests in computational linguistics, computer vision, and adjacent areas.
